An all-time record price was achieved by Hingalgoda Tea Factory Located in Hiniduma, Galle at this week’s tea auction held on 31 May.

Hingalgoda Tea Factory, managed by Tea Small Holder Factories PLC, renowned for constantly producing high quality teas, established an attractive price of Rs. 1,400 per kg for a PF in the Off Grade category.

This is the sixth instance in which Hingalgoda Tea Factory achieved an all-time record price for a PF grade during this year.

This line of tea was purchased by Continental Tea Ltd. and marked and sold by John Keells PLC.
